Building with Insight: How AMF Fastigheter Used Data to Shape the Future of Marievik
۱۱ اسفند ۱۴۰۲
When AMF Fastigheter acquired a large commercial property in Marievik, Stockholm, their vision was to transform the area into a vibrant district where residents, workers, and visitors could all thrive. To succeed, they needed a deeper understanding of the people the area would serve - their needs, behaviors, and attitudes. That’s where Perspetivo came in.

The project was carried out in two phases. First, a demographic analysis based on national statistics (SCB) was conducted to map out who currently lives in the area and their socioeconomic context. This was followed by market research in the form of a representative survey aimed at capturing the community’s needs, motivations, and purchasing behaviors. The survey reached a 95% confidence level with a 4% margin of error.
As a result, AMF Fastigheter gained detailed insights into the attitudes, behaviors, and needs of the people in and around Marievik. With representative data and a tailored analysis approach, assumptions could be replaced with evidence, forming the foundation of a more precise and long-term development strategy.
These insights now guide the development of the commercial aspects of the property, and shape AMF Fastigheter’s broader strategic planning for the area. An urban development strategy grounded in the realities of the people who live and work in the area. With data as a tool, we help create places that meet real needs - contributing to a more dynamic, inclusive, and sustainable city for everyone.
"We aim to work inclusively, creatively, and innovatively to engage residents and other stakeholders in the development of Marievik. We have now gathered valuable insights from local residents on how to best bring new life to the currently closed-off office district of Marievik."
